The Isle of Man branch of Woolworths will be open until Christmas.
Today (Thursday) it's been confirmed the firm has gone into administration.
The shops will continue to operate as normal while the administrators Deloitte
search for a buyer.
They say they've received numerous expressions of interest during the past 24 hours.
There has been a Woolworths over here for around 85 years and the store currently employs more than 50 staff.
Trade and Industry Minister David Cretney says his department will do whatever it can to help, should there be any job losses at the local store.
