Sentencing on a 19-year-old man who drunkenly attacked a woman has been adjourned for reports.
Paul Drennan Kelch, of Hillside Avenue, Douglas, admitted a charge of assault causing actual bodily harm.
The prosecution said the woman was attacked from behind by a man, who struck her on the side of the face, while she was walking along the Cinder Path to Hillside Avenue at 9.40am on October 31st last year.
Kelch was arrested following a public appeal for information and a description of the person responsible being released.
He told officers he was drunk after being at an all-night party and couldn't remember hitting the woman, but he accepted the facts.
Kelch has been bailed until Friday, March fifth.
