An investigation's underway into the cause of a flat fire in Douglas which left a woman needing hospital treatment.
Two fire crews were called to the property in Kensingtion Avenue at just after 1.30am on Saturday.
Officers wearing breathing apparatus went inside while crews doused the fire with a high-pressure hose from an aerial ladder platform.
Paramedics treated the occupant for smoke inhalation and took her to Noble's Hospital for further checks.
Officers say the flat complied with fire regulations, but anyone concerned about the safety of their flat or apartment in the event of a fire should call the Flats Team on 647328.
