
A woman taxi driver had to call for help after an incident on Douglas promenade last night.
Details are sparse but it is understood she was surrounded by a crowd near to Moby Dicks fish and chip shop next to the Hilton.
When she felt threatened, she summoned assistance from other cab drivers.
It is not known if she was injured.
