Major operation for Coastguard
Ramsey Coastguard says a woman rescued from the sea in Ramsey Bay this morning was 'very fortunate'.
A coastguard helicopter, members of the RNLI, police, and search and rescue dogs were involved in a 'major' search operation after the alarm was raised around 1am.
The unidentified female was found after two hours of searching the bay, and received medical treatment from members of the lifeboat.
Rescue Teams Manager Kevin Scott says misty conditions hampered the rescue effort:
