
Police are appealing for information after an accident in Douglas earlier left a woman with a serious leg injury.
At around 2.25pm this afternoon (Thursday), a white Ford Fiesta, driven by a Douglas woman, collided with a 97 year-old female pedestrian, who was taken to Noble's Hospital for treatment on her leg.
It happened near Save the Children on Windsor Road in Douglas and police want anyone who was in the area at the time and saw anything to contact the Road Policing Unit on 631444.
