Trees and fences down - but ferry leaves on time
Winds are abating following some storm force gusts of up to 70mph overnight.
Trees have come down in many areas, and whilst DOI workers have been out all night working to clear them, some are still to be dealt with.
These include the bottom of the Ballamodha near Silverdale.
Jurby Road, Lezayre.
Lanjaghan Road, Abbeylands, tree and power lines down
Stevenson Way, Anagh Coar
Grenaby Road near Ballabeg, a tree and some power lines are down.
There’s also a tree and some fencing down on Loch and Queen’s Promenade in Douglas.
The trees that were down at Laurel Bank and Ballaquane Road in Peel have been cleared. Police say there is debris littering the roads around the Island and drivers should slow down and take extra care.
There are no papers on the Island today, due to the fact that the Ben-my-Chree didn't sail last night - however the 8am Birkenhead sailing departed on time.
