Manx Utilities pledges no windfarm plans to be submitted before assessment is completed
The Chair of Manx Utilities says no planning application for windfarms will be submitted until a full environmental impact assessment is complete.
John Wannenburgh says that assessment is expected to conclude by October 2025.
He's promised the process won’t be rushed and that all mitigation plans will be clearly outlined.
Mr Wannenburgh says he hopes that will offer some reassurance to the public:
