
The Chief Minister says Manx pressure has caused the developer of winds farms in the Irish sea to look again at proposals.
Speaking in Tynwald, Allan Bell was answering a question from Onchan member Peter Karran about safety concerns, should hundreds of the giant turbines be erected.
The Steam Packet has said their sailings, particularly in the winter months, could be hit hard.
Mr Bell told members there would now be a delay:
