
There’s some respite for the Manx public over plans to build wind farms in the path of ferry routes to and from the Island.
That’s after Celtic Array deferred its decision to develop the Rhiannon wind farm - one stage of a larger three stage project in the Irish Sea.
The Manx government has welcomed the announcement by the company to allow further time to investigate options to remove or, at least, minimise the impact on shipping.
It follows a public consultation earlier this month.
