
There will be no funfair on the Isle of Man during TT 2009, and it remains unclear whether there will be one later in the summer.
On Manx Radio's Talking Heads today, Tourism and Leisure Minister Martyn Quayle said it had been decided a while back not to have the fair during race fortnight, as it was far more popular with locals than bikers.
He said the door was still open for some time after the races.
However, the man who brings the fair over, David Taylor, says there hasn't been any contact from the department:
