Birdlife Head highlights damage to native species
The spread of wallabies on the Island isn't to be welcomed.
That's the belief of the head of Manx Birdlife, Neil Morris.
Speaking on Manx Radio's Perspective programme on wildlife and invasive species, Mr Morris said while he appreciates that many people like to see wallabies in countryside, they have no natural place in the Manx ecosystem.
He believes they are causing damage to native species such as Hen Harriers around the Curraghs.
