Chief Minister says Government to introduce processes
Government needs to ensure the correct processes are in place to protect whistleblowers in the future.
That's from the chief minister who has apologised to the Isle of Man’s former medical director.
It’s after a tribunal ruled she should receive more than £3 million in compensation which will be paid for from the public purse.
Speaking on Manx Radio Breakfast this morning, Alfred Cannan said 'it's unlikely there will not be other tribunals in the future', so lessons should be learned now:
