Executive Director of Human Resources speaks to Tynwald committee
The so-called 'Integrity Line' through which 'whistleblowers' within government service can register their concerns has been used more than 100 times since 2022.
The information was provided to a Tynwald Select Committee on Whistleblowing Policy Implementation by government's Executive Director of Human Resources, Julie Bradley.
The whistleblowing policy was updated in April last year by a series of measures aimed at providing a complainant with greater protection and making the process easier and more transparent.
Dr Megan Mathias MBE, Chief Operating Officer for the Cabinet, provided the committee with a year on year breakdown of complaints received:
