TheatreFest caters for diverse tastes
The curtain goes up on a weekend of live entertainment tonight, as TheatreFest 2017 takes to the stage.
The festival, in its third year, is being held at Ballakermeen Studio Theatre in Douglas.
Audiences will be treated to a wide range of shows, from musical theatre and comedy to dance and gritty drama.
A specially devised piece, Chips, Cheese and Gravy will portray some unique aspects of Manx life - and has been put together from scratch this week.
The festival's been organised by Stage Door Entertainment and the Isle of Man Arts Council.
The Council's Arts Development Officer Emma Callin says they're hoping to create a real festival feel across the weekend:
