Cooish festival open to everyone
Today marks the start of the Cooish.
Held until Sunday (5 November) it's a fun and friendly Manx language festival which takes place annually every November.
It's open to everyone - whether you're completely new to Manx or a seasoned speaker.
Ruth Keggin Gell is Culture Vannin's Manx Language Development Officer - she says those picking up the language shouldn't feel daunted coming along to events:
