Nominations for Murray's ward seat close next week
If you’d like to stand for election to the Island’s largest local authority, you have a week to complete your nomination forms.
Douglas Council says nominations for the seat left vacant by Bill Malarkey will close on Monday, July 20.
Mr Malarkey’s Murray’s Ward seat was left empty after he won the Douglas North by-election for the House of Keys.
If more than one person stands, the ward will go to the polls on Thursday, August 13.
