Gusts of up to 55mph possible, forecasters warn
A yellow weather warning for gale-force winds on the Isle of Man will come into force tomorrow night (2 June).
The notice from Ronaldsway Met Office will be in place from 9pm on Monday, 2 June until 4am on Tuesday, 3 June.
Forecasters warn gusts could reach up to 55mph with the strongest gusts expected around Midnight on Tuesday, 3 June.
People are being advised damage and disruption is possible to outdoor temporary infrastructure such as tents and marquees and that precautionary action should be taken.
The Met Office adds whilst not unprecedented, winds of this strength are 'unusual at this time of year'.
