Weather casts doubt over sailings

The inclement weather has put a number of Steam Packet sailings in jeopardy.

It's being advised that tonight's 7.45pm Douglas to Heysham crossing may be disrupted or cancelled - with a further update due in the next hour.

The return journey from Heysham at 2.15am could also be affected as a result.

High winds in Heysham saw an earlier crossing depart from Birkenhead instead.

That's due to arrive in Douglas at 5.45pm.
