Manx residents urged to hand in weapons at police stations
Manx residents with weapons will have a chance to hand them over to the police - no questions asked.
The Isle of Man Constabulary is holding a weapons surrender programme from this Saturday [20 July] until 4 August.
Bins will be placed at police stations, where any firearm or other weapon can be disposed of.
Anyone wishing to hand over a weapon is urged to transport them appropriately so as not to cause alarm.
