Last week Peter Newbery was denied parole for the second time

The family of a teenager who was murdered over 20 years ago on the Isle of Man want to see real remorse from his killer before his release can be considered.

Last week, Peter Newbery was denied parole for the second time, Manx Radio understands.

In 2002 the abattoir worker killed 16-year-olds Samantha Barton and George Green.

George's sister, Shirley Klieve, told Manx Radio the family want Newbery returned to a high security prison in the UK:

Manx Radio has approached the Department of Justice and Home Affairs for a statement.
