Victim Support IOM responds to alleged incident of gang rape at Cornell University
Society needs to get better at challenging bad behaviour rather than placing the onus on victims.
That's the message from Victim Support Isle of Man.
It's been responding to the news of an alleged incident at Cornell University in New York, where seven men are accused of gang raping a 20-year-old woman at a fraternity house in 2024.
The charity helps those who've been the victim of crime, and its chief executive Lorna Trevethan says we need to change how we talk about these kind of cases:
