Societal changes discussed in media briefing
The chief constable says government's social distancing rules - and the subsequent changes in societal habits - have led to some interesting statistics:
Speaking at yesterday afternoon's Isle of Man Government media briefing, Gary Roberts said "enforcement comes last," as police operate during the coronavirus pandemic.
His officers will "engage with people, explain things to people, and encourage them to go home if they're in the wrong places."
"We haven't become a police state overnight," he added.
