A void has appeared on Castletown Promenade after a section of the sea wall has been washed away by waves.
A barrier has been put up around the short section of the pavement, after part of the concrete footway fell away earlier this morning.
Engineers from the Department for Infrastructure are assessing the damage before they work to design and start repairs.
