Works aim to improve reliability and reduce risk of bursts, with some temporary road disruptions expected
Manx Utilities has announced a programme of water infrastructure upgrades in the Foxdale area, due to begin next week. (7 April)
The works will take place along Kiondhooag Road, Stoney Mountain Road, Tosaby Road and Foxdale Road.
The MUA says the project will involve installing new water mains designed to improve the reliability of supply and reduce the likelihood of future bursts, as part of longer-term investment in the network.
Temporary road closures and traffic restrictions are expected while the work is carried out.
However, Manx Utilities says access to properties will be maintained throughout, with diversion routes in place.
