DoI cones off Ramsey-bound lane at Hillberry
Water causing tarmac to buckle is thought to be the reason for a large lump appearing in the road surface at Hillberry.
A section of the Ramsey-bound lane on the Mountain Road has been coned off while the Department of Infrastructure continues its investigation.
The DoI says it suspects ingress of water has caused the top layers to buckle but until the exact cause has been established it can't say how long it will take to fix the problem.
Motorists are warned to expect short delays.
