
The Water Authority says Douglas mains water should be fully back on-stream after a break in supplies yesterday for much of the town.
The problem was apparently centred around Bucks Road. There is major resurfacing work going on there but at the moment there is no suggestion of a connection between the two.
Engineers were due to have reconnected supplies last night. They say there could be discoloured water in the system and to run taps until it becomes clear.
