Watch rare Mike Hailwood footage

You can see rare footage of Mike Hailwood riding and commentating at the Manx Grand Prix for the next few days.

The footage of Hailwood on a practice lap in 1977 – the year before his big TT comeback – features in a documentary showing twice a day between now and Friday at the Manx Museum in Douglas.

‘Take it to the Limit’ is a 90 minute production using ground-breaking on-bike footage, including scrambling, road racing, trials and hill-climbing.

It’s directed by Peter Starr.

‘Take it to the Limit’ is showing every night this week at the Manx Museum at 5pm and 7pm.
