Sites in north, east and west warn of disruption
Amenity site users are being advised of possible disruption due to technical issues at the Energy from Waste Plant (EFW).
The Northern Civic Amenity Site at Balladoole says it's been advised of the situation by the Department of Infastructure, adding the facility currently has limited capacity at this time and people shouldn't visit unless absolutely necessary.
Elsewhere, the Western facility at St John's is giving out the same message over visits and adds large loads won't be accepted until further notice.
Meanwhile, The Eastern Household Amenity Site in Douglas is also warning of potential delays, stating it's currently unable to empty burnable material skips.
All sites will provide updates on the situation in due course.
