An Onchan MHK is showing no let-up in his pursuit of the DLGE Minister over how the Island's waste is handled.
In the House of Keys earlier this week, former Commissioner David Quirk asked John Shimmin for a breakdown of plans for a kerbside collection scheme in the east of the Island, and for details of planning applications for the proposed Archallagan landfill.
In reponse to another question from Mr Quirk, about how much the Waste Management Unit was costing and what it does, the Minister revealed that since 2004, it's cost almost £30 million.
The bulk of that amount has gone on the Energy from Waste Plant.
