A woman who came to the Isle of Man to visit her fiancée in an internment camp during World War II has been recalling her experiences.
Margaret Henrikson was on the Island at the weekend to see a show of artwork created by internees, at the Sayle Gallery.
She was classed as an enemy alien at the time, and says trying to arrange her wartime visit was extremely difficult.
