Last month was mild, but lacked sunshine
Last month was one of the warmest Decembers on record on the Isle of Man.
Ronaldsway Met Office says temperatures for the month were 1.6°C above the 30-year average, making it the warmest December since 2018 and the joint fourth warmest on record.
Christmas was particularly mild, with the overnight minimum of 10.5°C for Christmas Day morning the least cold on record.
However, it was a fairly dull month with just 23.8 hours of sunshine recorded - the lowest since 1977.
