Rehabilitation Ward 20 to stay shut until further review
Health and Social Care Minister Howard Quayle says a ward at noble’s Hospital is to remain shut through the winter.
Ward 20 is dedicated to rehabilitation separate from the main hospital building, and has been closed for the past three months.
Mr Quayle says care professionals have recommended the ward be closed to make best use of available resources.
And he says the position will be reviewed in Spring.
