The importance of preserving war memorials has been raised on the day the Isle of Man remembers those who have given their lives in conflicts around the world.
Chairman of the Preservation of War Memorials Committee Juan Watterson MHK says it's vital the details of all the Island's monuments are collated for future generations.
There are around 160 memorials around the Island holding almost 10,000 names, but there could be many more.
