No move by DEFA to control their spread
The Island's feral wallabies can hop easy it seems.
There are no direct plans by the Department of Environment Food and Agriculture to control their spread.
The issue of feral goats and wallabies on the Island was raised again in Tynwald this morning (Tues 20) by Garff MHK Daphne Caine.
Whilst conceding that wallabies would appear to be spreading from their main area around the Curraghs, Minister Geoffrey Boot said his department had no plans to restrict their movement or cull them in any way.
