Nine recorded in five years
There have been nine police incidents involving wallabies in the last five years.
The figures have been revealed following a freedom of information request by BBC Isle of Man.
There are thought to be up to around 160 of the creatures in the wild, after a pair escaped the Wildlife Park in the 1960s.
One episode saw officers wade into the Irish Sea to rescue an injured wallaby.
Other incidents included several collisions and wallaby carcasses being reported on Manx roads.
