Path closed for a week
A footpath in Laxey has been closed, after a wall collapsed.
The right of way, between the Laxey Health Centre and New Road, has been shut as part of the retaining wall is falling onto the steps.
A previous report suggested the road near the village's Co-op store was closed - Garff Commissioners have reiterated that this is not the case, and the main roads in the village remain open as normal.
The footpath in question will stay shut until next Thursday, or until repair works are complete.
