A charity which rescues neglected greyhounds is inviting the public to join them on a sponsored walk at the Ayres on Sunday afternoon - no dog necessary!
It's to raise money for Homesafe, an Island-based charity which finds loving homes for unwanted greyhounds.
Many thousands of puppies are bred each year but most don't make it into greyhound racing and large numbers are simply abandonned.
The walk's been organised by support group Team Greyhound Isle of Man.
Member Joanne Hetherington says their first sponsored dog-walk last year was a big success:
There are two start times from the Ayres Visitor Centre - 12 noon and 2.30 pm - the walk is 4.5 miles.
