Waitrose recall product

Tart may contain undeclared nuts

Waitrose has issued a recall for one of their products.

Their Morello Cherry and Almond tart has undeclared pistachio nuts.

The supermarket says the nuts are not mentioned on the label which could lead to a possible health risk for anyone with a nut allergy.

The product is in 375g packs with a use by date of 27th December.

Anyone who has bought the product and has an allergy to nuts should not consume the tart - but should return it to the store from which it was bought for a full refund.

No other Waitrose products are known to be affected.
