Health minister says improvements will be made based on quarterly figures
Plans are afoot to improve patient waiting times in the Isle of Man - with a model being assembled based purely on Manx figures.
That's the commitment made by the Health and Social Care Minister Kate Beecroft - as figures released last week show targets missed by in and outpatient departments.
The DHSC will publish figures quarterly in an attempt to determine areas most in need of attention - the move is part of its five-year efficency strategy.
That's expected to improve the provision for patients - and Mrs Beecroft says it's already clear how many issues can be cleared up; she gives us an example:
