
Health Minister EddieTeare has secured an additional £2 million from Tynwald to reduce waiting lists within the health service.
He says one way of achieving an improvement would be by making better use of existing staff and resources.
Mr Teare says there are times in operating theatres when everything is in place and patients on stand-by lists could be treated.
