MHK has mixed response to statement
East Douglas MHK Clare Bettison says more needs to be done to protect the 'most vulnerable' within the Island's society.
She made the comments while contributing to the Manx Budget debate in Tynwald.
Miss Bettison praised elements of the budget, saying she was supportive of the likes of the increase in income tax personal allowance.
But she said there were some at the very bottom of society who were not receiving sufficient help:
