
'Don’t lose your vote' is the message from the electoral registration office.
A new register of voters is being compiled for October this year and everybody is being advised to make sure registration forms are completed and returned within the next two weeks.
Forms are currently being mailed to households and Government Economic Adviser Stephen Carse (pictured) says starting the process early should make it easier to administer.
He is hoping for a good response and explained who will be eligible to vote:
