
Ramsey MHK Anne Craine believes local politics are alive and well in the north of the Island.
Mrs Craine's constituency of Ramsey has the largest choice of candidates at this Thursday's general election, with 18 people looking to fill 12 seats on the board of the town's commissioners.
However, she accepts more could be done to improve relations between members of local authorities and central government (audio file attached):
