Campaign to recruit more help for charities
A week-long celebration of those who help out with charities in the Isle of Man - and a recruitment drive to find more - kicks off with an event this weekend.
The 'Big Volunteer Recruitment Event' takes place in the Sefton Hotel's Garden Room between 10am and 2pm this Saturday (2 March), and marks the start of Volunteers' Week 2019.
Charities from a wide variety of sectors will be on hand to promote their services, as organiser Alison Lester explains:
