Unpaid roles play 'a vital part' in administering local justice
Volunteers are being sought to become magistrates on the Isle of Man.
Magistrates sit as a bench of three and preside over a range of cases before the Summary Court; they're described by Government House as playing a vital part in administering local justice.
No previous legal training or specific qualifications are needed for the unpaid role with full training provided to those who are appointed.
