A Manx woman is today (Wednesday) delivering a message on how to tackle extreme poverty and help those who live on less than £1 per day.
Kristina Crawford is attending the 2012 Global Poverty Ambassador launch at the London School of Economics, alongside the likes of Bill Gates and statistician Hans Rosling.
She says she has a passion for educating and informing people about development issues, and is delighted to have been given the opportunity.
Kristina, one of 60 volunteers chosen to attend the event, told Manx Radio she was being trained to deliver a presentation devised by the Global Poverty Project:
