
A jury of five women and two men have been sworn-in at the start of a trial of a gymnastics coach facing eight counts of indecent assault.
62 year-old Hal Volante, facilities manager at the Ellan Vannin Gymnastics Club in Douglas, is accused of committing the offences against girls aged between ten and 14.
The offences were allegedly committed between 1997 and January last year.
The prosecution will open its case on Wednesday morning.
