Former MGP competitor gives evidence to Tynwald committee
A former Manx Grand Prix competitor has called the government's plan to outsource the running of the TT 'ill-conceived'.
Edward Bowers gave evidence to a Tynwald committee this morning, as an investigation into the failed Vision Nine promotion re-opened.
The exclusion of local motorsport bodies when discussing the issue was criticised.
Tynwald last April approved the company becoming the main promoter of the event but a contract was never signed and the tender process was discontinued.
