The tram service along Douglas promenade is open for the summer season from today (Monday).
The horses will be pulling the cars along the promenade from 9am, after Douglas Council announced a changed timetable for 2010.
They are a familiar site on the prom and one of the most photographed, with hundreds of transport enthusiasts each year eagerly awaiting their arrival.
The man in charge of the horses for the Borough Council, Mike Crellin, says the hard-working animals look forward to the season:
Residents still want to see what wind farm will look like
Construction costs on the Island 18% above UK average and comparable with Outer London
Manx residents 'will probably need to pay more' if they want universal health service
Apartment building planned for Douglas City Centre
